UMD Libraries Digital Scholarship and Publishing

Using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) software, the University of Maryland Libraries provides support for all phases of journal production, including article submission, peer-review, and distribution.  If you are interested in launching a peer-reviewed online journal or transitioning an existing title to an open access online version, contact Terry Owen at towen@umd.edu for more information.

The International Journal of Information, Diversity, & Inclusion

The International Journal of Information, Diversity, & Inclusion (IJIDI) presents wide ranging and multidisciplinary perspectives on the intersection of equity, social justice, and information. The journal seeks to expand the discourse on how access to, interaction with, and the use of information by a range of populations can impact individuals, communities, and society. IJIDI is a quarterly, open access, online journal, free of cost and licensing agreements to authors.

IJIDI is a collaboration between the University of Maryland Libraries and iPAC, the Information Policy & Access Center at the University of Maryland

We invite submissions from the members of the Library & Information Science (LIS) community and cognate disciplines and encourage everyone to think about diversity and inclusion in the broadest possible terms. This, we believe, will help many researchers to see their work through the diversity lens, to find its relevance to the mission and scope of IJIDI, and to engage in a dynamic and open conversation.
