MOSF Journal of Science Fiction News: Call for Peer Reviewers
The JOSF is always seeking peer reviewers to join our team. Right now, we are particularly in need of peer reviewers with critical interests in Afrofuturism, but if you have research interests in sci-fi, we’d love to hear from you! As a peer reviewer, you can help improve the quality of science fiction scholarship.

Make sure that you indicate your reviewing interests and include a biographical statement (for example, your academic department or day job), as that will help our team identify articles for you to peer review. To highlight the importance of young adult science and speculative fictions, the Journal of Science Fiction is seeking academic articles of 5,000 to 8,000 words, short reflection pieces of 500 to 1,000 words, and book reviews of 500-750 words by August 1st, 2021 for a special issue on YA speculative fiction.

The MOSF Journal of Science Fiction is accepting submissions for a special issue on environmental studies and science fiction to be released in the summer of 2020, and has extended the submission deadline to Monday, June 1st. We have received a number of great submissions, which are currently under review, but we have decided to seek a few additional high-quality pieces for consideration as well.
