Thomas Stoop is a freelance concept artist and illustrator who lives in The Netherlands, where he was born and raised, and recently received his Bachelor of Arts and Technology with a focus in concept art. He is currently looking for an in-house position while he works on freelance projects. Authors

Ruzbeh Babaee holds a Ph.D. in English Literature and has taught American Literature and twentieth-century British and world literature at University Putra Malaysia (Malaysia). His courses include “Postnuclear Fiction”, “Literary Theory”, and “Literature, Film, and Media”. He has also published on various topics and authors, including British and American Modernism/Postmodernism, Utopian/Dystopian Fiction, Cyberpunk Fiction, Adlous Huxley, Kurt Vonnegut, and Don DeLillo.

Siamak Babaee has taught both American and British Literature at the University of Kashan (Iran) for 25 years. His courses include “Twentieth Century Fiction”, “Modern Drama”, “The History of English Literature”, and “Literary Translation”. He has also published many books and articles and has presented several papers in international conferences in the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Canada, and Malaysia.

David Christopher is a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) at the University of Victoria (Canada) in the Department of Art History and Visual Studies with a focus on cinema and cultural theory. His dissertation-in-progress considers anarchist cultural theory and Canadian apocalypse cinema. David’s Curriculum Vitae includes various publications focusing on science-fiction cinema in numerous journals, including CineAction, The Word Hoard, and Film International.

Joseph Hurtgen is a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) at Ball State University (USA) in the English Literature program, with an anticipated graduation date of Winter 2016.

Sue Yen Lee holds a Masters degree in World Literature, with a research focus on the interdisciplinary study of ecocriticism, and a B.Ed. TESL with first class honors from University Putra Malaysia (Malaysia). She currently works as an English language teacher under the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.

Melanie Marotta holds a Ph.D. in English from Morgan State University (USA), where she is currently a Lecturer in the Department of English and Language Arts and the Interim Director of the Writing Center. She is originally from the province of Ontario in Canada, and her research focuses on science fiction, the American West, contemporary American Literature, and Ecocriticism.

Mariano Martín Rodríguez holds a Ph.D. in Philology from the University Complutense of Madrid (Spain) and has published more than 60 studies in different languages related to modern drama, scientific romance, science fiction, and speculative fiction. He is currently co-director of the online journal Hélice (www.revistahelice.com).

Editors

Monica Louzon (Managing Editor) holds an MLS from University of Maryland (USA) and has worked with the Museum of Science Fiction since June 2014. She has a background in History, Spanish Languages and Cultures, Latin American Studies, and her research questioning the accuracy of racial and familial representations in Mexican casta paintings was published in Open Water.

Rachel Lazarus (Co-Editor) holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USA). Her research background includes traumatic brain injury, oxidative stress, and neo-antigenic proteomic modifications. She currently works with the FlyLight Project Team at Janelia Research Campus, a research center of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Heather McHale (Co-Editor) holds a Ph.D. in Literature from the University of Maryland (USA), where she teaches writing and literature. Her current work in progress is a book about the television series Doctor Who.

Barbara Jasny (Co-Editor) holds a Ph.D. from Rockefeller University (USA) and her career has been science-first, performing research in molecular biology and virology and then becoming a research Editor and Deputy Editor for Science magazine. She has communicated science through books, articles, posters, art displays, virtual presentations, meetings, digital media, and podcasts.

Alexander Cendrowski (Editorial Assistant) is pursuing his MFA at the University of South Florida (USA). He is a lemonade, ocean, and writing enthusiast, and his fiction recently appeared in Word Riot, The Legendary, and Perversion Magazine.
